Q:
Besides hunters, who else could benefit from the use of the calls?
A: In addition to sportsmen, the Cass
Creek calls will increase the enjoyment of the outdoors, helping
non-hunters attract, view, and communicate with wildlife. Such outdoor
enthusiasts include photographers, campers, bird watchers, naturalists,
environmentalists, horseback riders, and biologists. Anyone wanting
to vocally interact with wildlife will benefit from this product.
Q:
Are electronic game calls legal?
A: Cass Creek game calls are legal
in many states. Outside of the USA, game calling restrictions are
quite lenient. As with other hunting techniques, states and specific
zones within those states have particular restrictions across the
nation. Even isolated regions within states zones have certain hunting
requirements. Game laws change on a yearly basis, with each state
controlling the regulations of their counties, based on game populations
and many other factors. Cass Creek advises that you check your local
game laws for all legal and proper hunting
methods.
Q:
Who developed the call?
A: The call was invented by hunters,
for hunters. A group of world class sportsmen, highly skilled shooters,
and champion callers, product designers, graphic designers, and
electrical engineers all added their input to create this unique
call series.
Q:
When was the call invented?
A: Cass Creek Calls have been on the
drawing board for over 10 years. The unique features of the call
set it apart from other calls. The patent was filed in the spring
of 2002, having both a national and international patent pending.
Q:
Why select Cass Creek calls over others on the market?
A: Cass Creek Game Calls are superior,
more user friendly, more versatile, and more authentic than most
expensive units available on today's market. No other electronic
game call boasts such practical features. Here's what sets Cass
Creek calls apart from others:
* Cass Creek Calls are unique
* The unit interrupts the previous call activated, which allows
for more natural communication
* The call quickly repeats for training as well as
infield use
* Each call lasts about 6-8 seconds
* It has an LED light indicating power to the unit, and power will
automatically turn off if not activated within 2 minutes. This allows
for in store sampling
* The calls come with batteries included and are good for thousands
of button pushes
* Calls have a unique bark etch and rubber no-slip grips
* Finish is matte/textured for good camouflage
* Calls have speaker/headphone port
Q:
What are the features?
A:
* Convenient single handheld size and operation minimizes movement
for in field use.
* Most of the calls are actual, authentic game calls recorded in
the wild by professional video photographers and game naturalists
* The bark finish is etched into the surface of the call for more
realism and better grip. The pattern is an exact duplication of
a common natural tree bark
* The call is matte finished for more of a natural environmental
blend, reducing surface glare which can alert animals
* Convenient belt clip or strap clip
* Dial volume control for easy regulation
* "Sure hold" Rubberized grip
* Lightweight- easy to carry
* Easy to operate push button sound activation
* One finger selection allows for in close calling-five call selection
* Light On/Off indicator
* Speaker port
* Operates on 3 AAA batteries (included)
Q:
Are the calls real?
A: Most of Cass Creek's game calls
with the exception of waterfowl are actual animal sounds of game
species recorded in the wild. Cass Creek has contracted with world
renown video photographers and exclusively purchased the rights
to their recordings. The calls are safeguarded by special techniques
to prevent them from being illegally copied electronically. Those
calls which are man-made were produced by world champion game callers
specifically for Cass Creek International.
Q:
Why are there only 5 calls on each unit?
A: Most game species make many vocalizations.
Cass Creek has isolated and selected 5 of the most popular sounds
that lure game in close. Those 5 specific calls were determined
by a group of world class hunters, world champion game callers,
and nationally syndicated television wildlife video photographers.
To have a great number of calls on the unit would only complicate
the process for the sportsman as to making the right call at the
right time. Calling made easy is one of our goals. More call options
would also increase the retail cost of each unit.
Q:
Are Cass Creek game calls a quality item?
A: Cass Creek has designed these electronic
game calls with state-of-the-art production equipment. The product
was invented by hunters, for hunters as a useful addition to the
sportsman's equipment list. Quality checks- testing occurs throughout
the production process. Some of the nation's best electronic engineers
and product manufacturers, international designers, and established
production facilities are involved in bringing this product to the
market.
Q:
Are there other calls being developed by Cass Creek?
A: Cass Creek is currently in the process
of producing Series II of the game call units. For the more advanced
hunter, this will offer additional calls, effective in more situations.
New game calls for different species are also in development along
with other non-game wildlife. Look for these calls coming soon to
your favorite retailer.
Q:
Where are the calls made?
A: Calls are designed in the United
States; sounds are recorded and cleaned, and master chips are produced
in the U.S. Graphics, logos, photographs, electronic files, and
packaging designs are done in the U.S. The product is inspected
by a U.S. group. Our warehouse is in the U.S. As with most electronic
equipment, cameras etc., production is contracted overseas to keep
consumer costs down.
Q:
Are the Game Calls waterproof?
A: Cass Creek game calls are water
resistant and not totally waterproof. Although moisture is one of
the enemies of electronics, our design and production methods have
taken into account the product's outdoor use.
Q:
Are the calls shock proof?
A: Our game calls have been designed
to withstand a standard level of impact resistance. Prior to shipment,
they go through a test quality sampling process by a separate quality
agency. We have further tested them at Cass Creek and found the
product to function perfectly even after extreme measures of impact.
However, as with any electronic device, units should be handled
carefully and not subjected to abuse.
Q:
Are the game calls Guaranteed/ Warrantee?
A: Cass Creek game calls are guaranteed
to work. Should there be any failure due to defective workmanship
please return your product complete with packaging within 30-days

the distributor will be required to return the defective merchandise

We do not guarantee or warrantee products which have been abused
or physically damaged.
Q:
Is using a game call ethical?
A: Today's sportsmen have many tool
and equipment options available to help them be successful afield.
Advancements in camouflage clothing, firearms, ammunitions and loads,
and a plethora of products are on the market today. Some hunters
place personal limits on their equipment by hunting with primitive
weapons, homemade bows and arrows. Others have limited allowance
of outdoor recreation time and opt to take full advantage of all
equipment accessories to help them be successful hunters. The choice
to use game calls is just one other option available to the hunter.
Manual game calls, decoys, and other forms of attracting game have
been in existence for thousands of years. By no means does using
actual recordings of live wild game guarantee the sportsman will
succeed in bagging game. Like with all other equipment, it must
be used under the right conditions, at the right time, and at the
right volume. Other factors come into play in the total calling
process. These include the hunter's personal woodsmanship, the state
and receptiveness of the game quarry, the hunter's marksmanship,
camouflage, scent, population of game in the given area, his game
calling set up, and a good bit of luck.
Q:
Is it complicated to use?
A: Cass Creek has made our calling
device extremely user friendly. Easy infield use was our design
goal. With the excitement and stress of game within close proximity
of the caller, a multitask electronic calling device is simply not
practical. Even most children can operate our device making it easy
for them to practice with their manual game calls.
Q:
Why not just purchase a CD or Cassette tape with calls?
A: They're good; we're not knocking
them. Anything legal that makes you a better hunter is positive,
but most of these are recordings of game callers at some competition.
They don't usually name the call or isolate it so you can practice
it. Cass Creek has instant playback. A player and speaker system
would have to be purchased and are probably not shock or water resistant.
Cass Creek game calls conveniently fits in your pocket and is lightweight.
"Do I want to hunt, or do I want to lug and set up a cumbersome
calling system?"
Q:
How do you tell your hunting companion, without insulting him, that
his calling with his manual call is poor and is actually scaring
game away?
A: Making the wrong call at the wrong
time will drive game away. New hunters often over call at inappropriate
times. A Cass Creek call will teach them the correct sound, rhythm,
pitch, number of notes and duration of the call.
Packaging
Calls come boxed
6 in a box, 24 in a case of same call. Unique packaging of this

measured with commercial pegboard spacing. The product stands freely
